About Servant Connection
I believe America is heading for either a "cliff" or a revival unlike anything we've ever seen. It seems God is leaving the choice to us.
Long ago, He promised, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV)
God is calling Christians to prayer. If we committed to prayer and repentance, if we consistently responded to the needs of those around us with grace and compassion, would we not see the spiritual awakening we so desperately need?
God has strategically placed each of us in our community for such a time as this. We have to do something! In my case, that meant resigning from the pastorate after 23 years of pastoral ministry, in order to begin a community-based ministry called Servant Connection, focused on bringing believers together to pray, providing support and encouragement to pastors, and working to strengthen the most important connections in life.
Servant Connection is a ministry to the community, funded entirely by donations from those whom God has led to contribute, after their local church obligations are met. This is a faith-based ministry, in every sense of the word!
In this new venture, there is no "map." There is, however, the calling and guidance of God, the assurance of His provision, and the knowledge that we are being obedient. It's enough. If you love Jesus Christ and are endeavoring to serve Him, we are on the same team. God bless you.

Prayer is the number one focus of Servant Connection. In addition, there is a secondary, five-fold emphasis:
-Connecting People and Jesus Christ (evangelism, prayer, discipleship);
-Connecting Fellow Pastors (Being a friend to pastors, and bringing them together into fellowship with one another);
-Connecting Fathers and Children (working to establish better relationships between fathers and their children)
-Connecting Fellow Believers (Helping to create unity through relationship)
-Connecting Christians and the Community (Occasional community-wide events, and regular, small-scale "Kindness Outreaches" which connect Christians with people of the community)
